Copia is a 40-acre holistically-designed farm in Johnstown, OH. Complete with mature trees, ponds, a wandering creek, meadows, glowing sunsets and croaking frogs, Copia is a very special, diverse refuge, excellent for walks and picnics.
Our approach to farming is through the eyes of earth stewards. All of our practices build healthy soil, clean water, happy animals, and a thriving community. Our extensive background in teaching Permaculture is our farm's north star.
Visiting Our Farm
For now, just our Farm Store is open to the public, but we have so much on-farm fun planned in 2025, for a much more on-farm experience!
Because we are an honor-system store, we do not advertise on the road. You’ll see our driveway to turn into, and the farm store on the left. You can park in our lot, trying to save space for all of our guests, go right into the Farm Store, pick out what you want, and use our POS system to barcode scan your items and pay.
We accept cash (no change available), cards, personal checks, and Apple Pay.
We also have a spic-and-span porta-john.
We ask that you stick close to the Farm Store as we have guardian dogs roaming the farm protecting our animals, along with construction and heavy equipment.
Expanding Our Impact with Partnerships
We also work with a few other farming families who we have hand selected to collaborate with us. Our relationships are of mutual support, exchanging mentorship and close guidance according to our regenerative standards, and in turn we are able to produce much more than what we could at our home farm.
